“ Took a ride with my club to Athens was looking for a spot to eat .. found this outstanding smokehouse . Excellent BBQ.. Gravel parking lot so if your riding bring a piece of wood to put under your kickstand it’s soft in certain areas. Service was great they get your food right out and plenty of seating in picnic tables outside which is under cover . ”
“ Thank you for pleasing all eight of us which seems impossible to do at a meal. All the smoked meats were amazing. The trout was off the charts and the brisket was as good as the best smokehouses in Texas. There. I said it. Gorgeous setting and wonderful service. ”
“ Timing is everything! I was craving brisket, so I searched for the best in Monroe County! Others reviews weren't kidding! Thank goodness it was a Saturday afternoon before 4pm! Luckily, they weren't sold out!The owners and family members were friendly and helpful. The brisket was flavorful, moist and tender, as was the pork tenderloin! Baked beans were loaded with pulled pork...yum! Cole slaw was tasty too! Glad I bought enough to have leftovers! This will be my go to BBQ place when I'm in East Tennessee! ”

“ Stopped In with my two kids and had the best bbq I’ve had it a very long time. The staff are really nice and funny. Outdoor seating is nice and covered with huge tables. Had the ribs and pork and it was fantastic. Can’t wait to go back. ”
“ Navarro’s is absolutely delicious. If you want your pick of the menu, get there when they open!! Their collared greens are to die for. And don’t get me started on the brisket. So good. ”
“ Place has the best food hands down. Would highly recommend this place to anyone. I came here from Wisconsin and Wana make the trip back just to have more. Place is laid our very nice loved everything about this place. ”
“ Great food in great surroundings! Visited for lunch, thankfully before they (understandably) sold out of their most popular options. BBQ is one of my favorite food types, and I’ve sampled it all over the country. This is honestly some of the best I’ve ever had. My 2-meat plate had an ample portion of pulled pork and a couple large slabs of brisket. Slaw and baked beans were the sides. Both also very good. (That meal could have easily fed two “normal” people, but it was yummy, I was hungry, and nobody had ever accused me of being “normal”) My wife had pulled pork with mac-n-cheese and baked beans. She was pleased with all, and was disciplined enough to have brought some of each home for later. The folks here were friendly, helpful, and patient as they took orders from some first-time BBQ customers ahead of us. Service was quick and friendly. Seating is 100% outdoors, but under cover. The view and surroundings added to the experience, especially on a perfectly warm early fall day. My only wish is that they were open longer hours, more days, and didn’t take a winter hiatus. But maybe that also makes it more special! I feel crazy for having taken so long to get here, but I’m certain I’ll be back more regularly now. ”
